Jantine Kriens (born 1954) has been a member of the Council for the Environment and Infrastructure since 2020. She is the former general director of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities and a former councillor in Rotterdam. She holds paid ancillary positions as a member of the Supervisory Board of HVC; chair of the Supervisory Board of the tenants’ council Hef Wonen; and chair of the governmental advisory group on childcare allowance (bestuurlijke adviesgroep kinderopvangtoeslagen, BAK). In addition, she holds an unpaid ancillary position as chair of the appointments advisory group of the Education Council of the Netherlands (benoemings adviesgroep Onderwijsraad, BAC).
