Jan Jaap de Graeff (born 1949) joined the Council for the Environment and Infrastructure in 2012, and has been its chair since 1 January 2016. Among other roles, he is the former chair of the Schieland Regional Water Authority and managing director of the nature preservation society Vereniging Natuurmonumenten. He holds a paid ancillary position as associated adviser at Lysias Advies. In addition, he holds an unpaid ancillary position as a member of the standards committee for philanthropic institutions.
